A letter to our supporters
Saturday, May 26th, 2012Dear Friends of AWI, We need your help! The 2012 season is in full swing and over the past couple of weeks we have taken in many orphaned, sick and injured wild animals; some of which you may have seen and commented about on our Facebook page. We have also been receiving distressed wildlife calls from all over our region which, in turn, has generated concern that this is going to be a very busy year here at the Institute. Operating as a registered charitable not-for-profit organization; and as the only wildlife rehabilitation centre in our province; the reality is that we need your assistance more than ever! Simply put, it is going to require a cash flow in order to meet the ever-growing financial burden associated with caring and returning these animals back to their regional wildlife populations. A one-time contribution or small monthly donations all go a long way toward helping us meet this challenge. Every penny truly does help!
